Our Work
The Watershed Council is the only organization in Northern Michigan that focuses solely on water: the Great Lakes, inland lakes, streams, rivers, wetlands, and groundwater. But ongoing pressures from unplanned development, wetland filling, soil erosion, stormwater runoff, dams, invasive species, and potential water diversions all threaten the health of Northern Michigan - the lifeblood of our region.
